False Bay is a winemaking project in South Africa. The winery is in an area know for it's complex biodiversity, so they have to be respectful of the surrounding environment. They adopt a hands off approach to wine making, everything is done very naturally. Very smart varietal Shiraz.
Old bush vine Cinsault forms the backbone of this 'proper' rosé. A pale, spicy and textural Rosé mostly sourced from bush-vine Cinsault with summer fruits on the palate and a lovely clean, savoury, dry finish. There is almost no food that fails to work with this wine.
This is a great Chardonnay for the price! Wild yeast fermentation, low yields and naturally balanced grapes. This is a serious unoaked textural Chardonnay with great focus and poise. Classy, with flinty minerality and great purity and restraint. Extended time on the lees adds nutty and toasty notes.
